BRISBANE, Australia, 5 August 2011: Six months ago, Red Crest Studios aimed to create a completely new and innovative game design combining multiplayer action, procedurally generated levels and fresh visuals that have never before seen in either the AAA or indie games space. The result is Andromium, coming to Xbox LIVE Indie Games on August 12.

Andromium is the name of a dangerous radioactive metal, that explodes when it touches anything for a short period. Armed with no weapons, and a limited shield, you must team up with a friend to safely deliver your combustible cargo to a research lab several lightyears away. Not only must you avoid all the dangerous obstacles scattered throughout space, but you must juggle the Andromium between your ship and your partner’s, to ensure the Andromium remains cool and stable. Watch out for space bees, grinding gears, enemy ships, electric orbs, alien tongues, clock pendulums, blue fireballs, balance boards and giant broccoli, but for heaven’s sake don’t lose the Andromium when it reaches your side of the screen!

Oh, and don’t think you can just “learn” a level by playing it repeatedly, as all of Andromium’s levels are procedurally generated! A hectic game design, coupled with an unpredictable set of levels and attack waves, makes for an extremely chaotic and addictive overall experience that is a world apart from your average shooter.

There are several modes to keep you hankering for more. With the regular One Player mode, you control the left ship and the AI controls the right. Avoiding the obstacles is tough enough, but make sure you collect the Andromium whenever it is launched towards you! But if even that isn’t hardcore enough for you, try the outrageously hard One Player “Mastermind” mode, which requires you to control both ships through two different level streams, using one controller! Insanity may ensue, you have been warned and Red Crest Studios absolves itself of any responsibility for your mental condition after playing for too long. Finally, share the fun, by inviting a friend over to play Two Player mode and attempt to co-operatively handle the Andromium in the heat of the moment!

Speaking of sharing the fun, you can send your high score tables to any of your online friends over Xbox LIVE, while also inviting them to defeat those scores.

Oh, we almost left off the best part: Andromium will cost just 80 MS Points. And in case you thought we made a typo (don’t worry, it wouldn’t be the first time a typo was found in a prss reelase), it will cost EIGHTY points.

So, to summarize: addictive arcade-style gameplay that has never been done before, with procedurally generated levels and multiple modes, All for 80 MSP. Coming to Xbox LIVE Indie Games on August 12.

You make great games.

We get the word out about them.

It’s that simple.

Great to meet you. The Final Say PR website is up and running – please let us know if something isn’t working right.

Check out the What We Do page to find out more about, well, what we do – but the short version is that we’re a new PR and marketing firm that specializes in helping small and independent video game developers.

Why? Simply because it drives us crazy when we see a great game get completely ignored by people who would love it if they just knew about it. All too often we see games get released by teams of very talented people just disappear in the giant ocean of the App Store because they didn’t know how to get the media and gaming communities interested.

It doesn’t have to be like that. No matter if you’re a one man band, a handful of new talents or a team of experienced developers ready to take on a new challenge – we have the tools, experience and know-how to get you and your game a bigger audience.

Stay tuned – we have a lot of exciting news in the weeks and months ahead!
